Startups FYI Spotlight
Here are the startups that made it to the top of the list in this week's edition.
๐ Moonmap (Pre-revenue): This tool runs the funnel analysis that used to eat your whole afternoon and tells you the single most profitable ad to increase budget money on.
๐ซ Way2In (Pre-revenue): This easy-to-use tool handles event ticketing, virtual stages, attendance, and post-event stats in a single platform, for physical, virtual, or hybrid events.
The best influencer marketing advice never comes from a report
Think about the last thing that got you fired up about your job this year. Odds are it didn't come from a report. It came from someone who does the job, saying what happened when they tried it.
So we've filled a day with people like that.
Maya Shaff, ลURA. Leah Walker, Adobe. Georgia Humphries, Stanley 1913. Enara Roy, Halfday. Tyler Vaught, Edelman. Josh Rangel, Ogilvy. Sarah Whittle, ex-Crocs and Duolingo.
And that's just the first wave of speakers.
Return on Influence Festival '26 is a free, virtual day dedicated to influencer marketing. Like any good festival, there are stages. But no mud, no queues, and absolutely no porta-potties.
Sign up today, and the rest of the lineup lands in your inbox first.
๐ผ Linkgenie ($150): The founder landed multiple jobs just by posting on LinkedIn consistently. Now his AI assistant writes story-led posts for you, so you can stay consistent without staring at a blank box.
๐ค MindNote ($503): Feed this tool your voice, a YouTube video, or a photo of handwritten notes, and it turns any of them into written text.
๐ฌ Auralis AI ($100K): A conversational AI that handles high volumes of customer support queries across every channel at once.

Startups FYI Roundup
โก He Lost a $10M ARR Business. Two Weeks Later He Was Earning Again.
Proxycurl was shut down after a legal battle, taking a $10M ARR business with it. Instead of disappearing, Steven Goh went back to the drawing board and built another tool - NinjaPear from scratch in two weeks. Revenue started coming in almost immediately.
๐ ๏ธ He Almost Killed Kit at $1,000 MRR. Now It Does $50M+ a Year.
Nathan Barry nearly pulled the plug on ConvertKit when revenue fell to around $1,000 a month. He stuck with it, rebranded it to Kit, and built it past $50M ARR without taking venture money.
In this conversation with Dan Putt he gets into the harder part: how you actually lead at that size, make decisions under uncertainty, and find the purpose underneath the company.
โก $30K MRR From a Product Built in a Weekend by Someone Who Can't Code
Hasaam Bhatti failed at ten or twelve products before this one, because he kept building for audiences he didn't belong to.
Then he built Launch Fast in 48 hours using Cursor, pitched a coaching community that already had thousands of Amazon sellers, and hit $10K MRR in 30 days. It's at $30K now. His line is worth stealing: fifty percent of something real beats one hundred percent of nothing shipped.
